Amber Clarke Shares 5 Steps To Feeling More Powerful

The most powerful people in the world are not those who hold the most money, power, or fame. The most powerful people are those who have a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. There is a lot that you can do to feel more empowered in your life. You can take on challenges, learn new skills, and develop your talents so that you feel like you are living up to your potential. You can also make a conscious decision to do things that make you happy rather than things that make other people happy or what society tells you is expected of you.

Step 1 – Believe In Yourself

Believing in yourself is not an easy thing to do. There are times when we all feel like we can’t do anything right. That’s when it’s time to take a step back and start believing in yourself again. The first step to believing in yourself is realising that you are worthy of love and respect. You deserve the best and you deserve to be happy. The next is learning how to forgive yourself for past mistakes. You are human, so it’s only natural that you make mistakes from time to time, but that doesn’t mean you should punish yourself for them forever. And finally, believe in your strengths and weaknesses instead of your weaknesses alone. You might not be the best at everything, but there are still things you can do well without even trying too hard!

Step 2 – Emotional Control

Emotions are powerful. It is a matter of fact that we cannot control our emotions even if we want to. Emotions are what drive us to do things and the intensity of those emotions can be so high that they can lead to disastrous consequences. The second step in the process is accepting your feelings and being aware of them. The main goal here is to make sure that you don’t let your feelings control you but instead, you are in control of them. You need to acknowledge how you feel and then decide how best to deal with it or what steps need to be taken in order for the feeling not to have any more effect on you.

Step 3 – Surround Yourself With People Who Love You And Value Your Opinions

We all need a support system to get through the tough times. Having friends and family who love and support you is an amazing feeling. You feel safe, powerful, and confident when surrounded by people who have your back. When someone is not supportive of you, it can make you feel as if your life is not worth living. We all need to be surrounded by people who love and support us. It’s important to find a community that we can call home. In a world where everyone’s opinion counts, it is important to surround ourselves with people who will love us for our opinions and respect us for what we say.

Step 4 – Keep A Positive Mind-Set

A positive mind-set is something that we should all strive for. It is not easy to keep a positive mind-set when we are constantly bombarded with negative news and events. However, this does not mean that it is impossible. You just need to commit to maintain a positive mind-set, and you will be able to do it. The first step in maintaining a positive mind-set is by changing your environment. This means limiting the time you spend on social media and watching the news, as these are often negative environments. The second step in maintaining a positive mind-set is by focusing on what you have rather than what you don’t have or what’s missing from your life. Why not take a break from social right now? Go on – take 15 minutes outside in nature without your phone!

Step 5 – Practice Self Care Regularly

The idea of self-care can be overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to get into the habit of it after neglecting it for so long. Self-care looks different to everybody. You don’t need to go on a vacation or buy expensive things in order to practise self-care – there are plenty of simple ways that anyone can incorporate into their daily routine. Here are three things you can do right after you’ve read this article:

  1. Find time for yourself each day. Go for a walk, meditate, do a crossword. Whatever you want to do.
  2. Learn to say no to things that are not good for you. Start small until you’re comfortable in saying no to the bigger things.
  3. Do something you enjoy every day. What brings you joy? Can you do five minutes of it right now?

The next time you feel powerless, remember that you have the power to change it. You have the power of choice and the power of perspective. You are powerful because you are capable of making a change, even if it is just in your own life.
